Indigo Dye ~Extra Edition The seeds of the indigo plant I received have sprouted! ~

good morning.

Tateai seeds introduced in the article the other day.

I'm growing the tadeai seeds that Ms. Yukari Saka gave me in a pot on the veranda of my house.

About a week after I sowed the seeds, they sprouted!

It grows densely on a small pot and sprouts.

It seems that it is useless if you do not thin it out.

These buds are grown, harvested, the leaves and stems are separated, and the leaves are fermented and matured to become sukumo.
This fermentation and aging process takes a lot of time and effort.

While I am still learning about genuine indigo dyeing, I would like to watch over the growth of Tateai and use it to make good dyed products.

A limited number of tie-dyed handkerchiefs dyed with genuine indigo by Ms. Yukari Saka are now on sale.
