The handling of clothes that started the other day. I introduced clothes in this article, but today I would like to write about my encounter with enrica and how I decided to carry it on Pint!.
I met Mr. Machida, the designer of enrica, through a mutual acquaintance, and last year I had the opportunity to talk with him. Enrica is a brand active in the fast-paced world of the apparel industry, announcing seasonal collections in Japan and overseas.

While listening to the story, I was drawn into Machida's unique way of perceiving fashion and design. I would like to think about "Japanese clothes" from the "differences between Western and Japanese clothes culture" that I have been active in Paris for a long time. I would like to develop a standard collection apart from the seasonal collection that I continue to create and create.
While active in the apparel industry, which has its own unique rules and atmosphere, it was refreshing to see Pint! About manufacturing, about clothes, about the culture and atmosphere surrounding them, and the differences between Japan and other countries. We had a lively discussion about non-specific work and initiatives, and exchanged various opinions.
What can we do together then? After many meetings, the result was the production of "Kagure's original shop coat". When Kagure made the original shop coat, enrica was considering designing it, and we proceeded with the Pint! everyone's tool format. ( Click here for the report)
The reason why I decided to participate in this project, which is probably quite troublesome and time-consuming for a fashion designer, is that I hope it will be an opportunity for buyers and store staff to learn more about clothes. They kindly accepted. It is a powerful partner who will challenge new approaches to making clothes together.
The first reason is that we have a similar approach to manufacturing and can work together from the same perspective.

The second is the quality of clothes and design. Making clothes requires the cooperation of many professionals, and there are many difficulties unique to making clothes. Doing it in-house was a very difficult hurdle, and we continued to search for it for a while. As Pint!, I would like to introduce clothes in the same field of "sincere and high-quality manufacturing with natural materials" rather than clothes that are an extension of "miscellaneous goods" in the genre. In the Kagure project, I was able to work together from concept work to design production, and I was able to see the work of apparel design professionals up close. I strongly wanted to introduce it to Pint! customers. It has a feminine and relaxed feel, but also a dignified and mature atmosphere. This is the charm of enrica.
The third, which is close to the core part of Pint!, is how to use and think about "materials". enrica mainly uses natural materials such as cotton, organic cotton, linen, and silk. There are many brands that use this kind of manufacturing method for clothes as well. I like the words, "I ended up with natural materials and natural dyeing." A natural, straightforward reason that doesn't overdo it. Pint! also uses natural materials for the same reason. If you think about comfort and ease of use, it's not a chemical substance no, it's an order that it was a natural material.
For this reason, I decided to start with enrica as the clothes to start with Pint!. The enrica items we are introducing now are made of cool linen and cotton materials that are likely to be useful this summer.
I would be happy if you could feel the charm of natural materials and natural dyeing through enrica clothes.
