I'm a little late in posting this report, but Kagure no Wardrobe #02, making original shirts has finally finished its 5th and final round.
Previous reports 1st > 2nd > 3rd > 4th >
Up until last time, the 1st and 2nd samples were completed, and we were able to compare the design type, texture of the fabric, and sewing specifications. The sewing factory was also changed, and the 1st shirt was feminine, and the 2nd shirt was made with a slightly masculine work taste. Today is an important time to decide the final sample based on the 3rd sample.

As I wrote in the previous article, this is a review of the modified contents of the 3rd sample.
・Since the chain stitch and washing process gave it a work-like appearance, I decided to eliminate it and change it to solve the problem.
・Avoid stitching on shoulders, underarms, armholes, and sleeves → Stitches disappear and the feeling of work is lost. Instead, a lock finish makes it thin and light.
・With this, the factory will also return to 1st.
This is a sample that reflects these in order to bring it a little closer to a feminine shirt.

This time as well, everyone took turns trying on the clothes while verifying. Verification of the 3rd sample. The parts that are OK are confirmed, and the parts that need to be corrected are directly reflected in the actual production.
▼ Shapes and patterns
It was almost decided as it was, and it was finished in a good shape. There is one correction, the armholes and sleeves are slightly thinner.
▼ Details
Top button loop
Top button only, loop instead of buttonhole. Fixed appearance balance and ease of button hanging. Orient this loop sideways and make it thinner.
●Pocket part
5-needle stitching is OK. Fine stitching is a point along with reinforcement.
Sewing thread
Tetoron thread of the same color is used for navy and khaki, and cotton thread is used for white. So that when stains and dirt become conspicuous, it can be dyed repeatedly. If you use ordinary polyester thread, the thread will not be dyed and will float, but if you use dyed cotton thread, it will be dyed together with the fabric. There are hurdles such as thread breakage during sewing, but they will handle it.
●Button
10mm button, final decision according to the fabric color. The top is a walnut button of the same fabric.
The final specifications are finalized. There were many specifications that were not adopted halfway through repeated revisions, but while trying and examining each one, I was able to grasp the meaning of each component and meaning of making shirts and clothes. I was.
Kagure's role as a maker and retailer is to actually make this shirt, sell it in the store, and have the customer choose and wear it. Mr. Hashiba, who majored in literature, came up with the idea of wanting to express the joy of shopping, encounters with this shirt, and a message from Kagure in a waka poem. decided to put on. Rather than simply making and selling a single piece of clothing, we will deliver it together with our thoughts on encountering that clothing and having people wear it in their daily lives. With Mr. Hashiba at the center, the Kagure team chose a waka poem, selected paper, and designed it as homework to take home. I was thrilled to listen to the message and approach that was completely different from the usual image of how to sell clothes. I would like to report on this again in the next final report.

With the year-end and New Year holidays in between, we will finally start production after reflecting today's content. In February, there will be a delivery and a fitting & unveiling party that also serves as a review. It will be available at Kagure stores from March.
Next time, we will introduce the finished product in both the product photo and the wearing photo, so please look forward to it.
