Event: Pint! Exhibition Creating tools from living gestures – hemp, wood and iron –
Date: April 29, 2015
Location: Bookmark day http://sioribi.jp/ (Matsumoto City, Nagano MAP )
In conjunction with the Matsumoto Craft Fair on May 30th and 31st, "Kogei no May" will be held throughout Matsumoto, including galleries and cafes, for about a month from April 29th.
Last year, I visited Matsumoto on the way to the craft fair, and at that time I also visited Mr. Shiori for the first time.
Shiorihi's exhibition is in the form of participating in May of crafts.
This is the first time for us to hold an event in Nagano, and as the title suggests, we have a wide range of materials such as wood, hemp, and iron.
The main techniques are aligned for each material, making for an impressive lineup.
On April 29th, there will be a live talk with craftsman Mr. Ogura.

The venue is Shiorihi .
It is a bookstore that mainly sells little presses, but it also sells hand-dripped coffee and homemade donuts, and also sells goods in a gallery format and holds live talks.
The books, coffee, and works selected by the owner, Kikuchi-san, are in harmony with each other, even though they are of various genres.
It's a really nice shop that I want to go to if it's near my house.
The period is one month, so if you are in the area, of course, if you are traveling to the Matsumoto area, or if you are visiting the Matsumoto Craft Fair, please drop by.

・A talk live will also be held on the first day of the afternoon of April 29.
・May 30th-31st Matsumoto Craft Fair
is scheduled.
Mr. Kikuchi's donuts and coffee are very delicious, so please take a break at the cafe while enjoying a book or talking with Mr. Kikuchi.

A special exhibition of Pint!, which works with Japanese craftsmen to make everyday tools that make the most of materials.
Hemp is "weaving" and "knitting", wood is "bending", "turning" and "sashimono", and iron is "casting" and "forging".
Even with the same material, there are various processing techniques and manufacturing methods.
We are particular about high-quality materials and production without cheating, and finished with the skills of each Japanese craftsman.

We have started a new way of manufacturing, in which users who know the current lifestyle connect with craftsmen who know the materials and have the skills to create a single product. Looking back on the story of the development of the “wiping lacquerware that can be used every day” that was the first step, we will think about the future of manufacturing.
