A plate made from a single solid cherry wood board.

The surface is left with traces of manual scraping. Since the surface is basically flat, you can combine cocotte and small plates on top of it. In addition, since there are unevenness due to shaving marks, even items with a little bit of juice can be served directly.

The sides are cut inward toward the bottom, making it easy to pick up with your fingers. Of course, it looks light and has a beautiful shape. Because it is thin, it does not weigh much, and even though it is large, it is less stressful when washing and everyday use. When you hear a big wooden plate, you can say that it is made thinner than the general image.

If it is made of solid wood and has an oil finish, the thin plate may warp if it is not dried properly, but the material is good and the plate is carefully finished.

The material is cherry. It is characterized by a slightly reddish color, and the color deepens with the passage of time. The color changes even when not in use, so if you use it every day, the color will deepen and you can enjoy the change over time.

The finish is oil and beeswax. After organic hemp seed oil, I apply beeswax cream.

The presence of the wood and the warmth of the handiwork of the carving marks are there, but because the thickness is suppressed, it will blend well with other tableware on the dining table.

Because it is a natural material, it may contain knots. If there is no problem with usage or strength, it is left as it is, otherwise it is removed at the manufacturing stage or scraped off as shown in photos 5 to 7. Please rest assured that the delivered product will be manufactured based on this judgment and will not cause any problems in use.

Due to the characteristics of wood, there may be knots or dark lines that are close to black, but they are part of the wood grain and material, and are not dirty or defective, and there is no problem with fastness. In addition, we are unable to respond to your preference of wood grain as this is a made-to-order product.
