At PINT, we have produced and introduced soup bowls with a low base. We made only one type of soup bowl, which has a low height and literally has few signs, in accordance with the current dining table that is often used with western tableware and the current living environment, which is often high from the floor.

There are many traditional soup bowls with a high base, but one of the reasons why I haven't dealt with them so far is because I couldn't find the one that was right for me.

At first glance, this potter's wheel soup bowl made me want to use it even if it was on a high ground. It has a sharp outline with straight lines, a beautiful balance, and a sense of stability. At first glance, it gives the impression of being stiff, but it has a smaller diameter and is taller than a typical soup bowl. In addition, the cherry tree has a light grain, so even if it is wiped with lacquer, the feeling of wood is not too strong, and it blends well with other vessels.

The shape and material soften the Japanese atmosphere of the sturdy soup bowl, and it has a nice appearance.

The high base makes it stable and easy to hold. Holding a bowl in one's hand is a unique Japanese way of eating and eating, but the soup bowl has been made to fit in with today's lifestyle. When you use it, it fits well in your hand, and when you line it up with other tableware, the dining table looks tight.

The wooden base is made by Mr. Sakai, and the coating is also finished in the same production area. There are two colors, black lacquer and unrefined lacquer. There are two types of shapes: soup bowl and rice bowl. The short and wide bowl is the rice bowl.
