Big Leather Tote Bag Patchwork (A)

Oversized leather tote bag. It's pretty big. Patchwork using soft leather (calf: calf leather) material, all are one-of-a-kind items.

Produced by Mr. Suenaga of alegria, who makes custom-made shoes in Kyoto. We had a sample of custom-made shoes on display at the PINT store. I put 5 shoe boxes in this bag and took it home.

The leather was too soft to be made into shoes, so he made it for himself to carry a shoe box. I asked him to make it because of its unique size, bold patchwork design, and the functional balance of being made of genuine leather that can be folded compactly.

It is made of fairly soft calf leather and has no gusset, so it can be folded and is light. For bulky items such as boxes and items that cannot fit in a regular size bag. The bag itself doesn't have a gusset, but it's wide enough and the leather is quite soft, so even deep items can fit inside.

The strap on the handle is long enough to be worn on the shoulder.

It has a rough patchwork atmosphere, and is made simple to create a light and compact design. The stitching is carefully done and the material is genuine leather, so it is not durable or does not hold heavy items.

It seems that many people use these big tote bags for work. Since there is no gusset, it is suitable for flat and long objects such as large paper and camera tripods.

As the surface area is large, the luster and rich texture of the leather are clearly visible.

I think it goes well with long shirts, coats, clothes made of voluminous materials such as wool. The design has an impact and presence, so I hope you enjoy coordinating it.

・Like general leather products, if it gets wet with water, it may cause discoloration or stains. Applying a commercially available waterproofing spray for leather can reduce the degree of damage. Please use according to the usage of the waterproof spray.
