【募集終了】9/8 (sat) 木の器のお話会 #01

[Application Closed] 9/8 (sat) Wooden Vessel Story #01

We will hold a tree talk party. The location will be a store in Kyoto, so if you are nearby, please join us.

The announcement was just before, so it may be a small gathering with a small number of people. A smaller number of people will allow the question-and-answer session to be more intensive, so I think you will be able to enjoy it in a homey atmosphere.

[Event overview]

"I don't really understand wooden vessels." We respond to such voices.

One of the reasons why I don't understand well is that both the producer and the seller are unable to explain as a result of the tendency to sell easily, and as a result, the buyer also has no basis for judgment, which is good and which is not good. It seems that we are in the current situation that we do not really know what is the difference between them.

It's true that they don't look much different, and it's hard to tell them apart.
In addition, although wooden vessels are suitable for the climate and lifestyle of Japan, they are not suitable for commercial facilities where spot lighting and air-conditioning are extremely effective.
For a few other reasons, I honestly don't have a good relationship with the sales space or the sales side. Knowledge and explanation are required. But again, wooden vessels have been used for a long time in Japan, so they are suitable for Japan, and there are many people who like wooden things.

I want you to know a lot of things on the front and back of the wooden vessel! So we are holding this meeting.

From solid wood and laminated wood, differences between tree species, processing techniques, types of finishes, and maintenance methods. We have many samples and products available.

・Nihon tree tree species sample
・Molding, sawing, bending, joinery, tying
・Wood base, oil, persimmon juice, wipe lacquer, lacquer, urethane
・Daily care
・How to grow an oil-finished wooden plate

Craftsmen are mostly divided into different types of wood processing techniques, but we will tell you about wooden vessels from the unique perspective of PINT, which has continued to create and communicate with each craftsman. I've been using it myself for a long time, and I'll tell you how to grow a cool wooden plate that all the customers are happy to show.

In this one hour, you will learn a lot.
All of them are available as real samples, so you can touch them.

It should be fun to choose, buy, and use.

If you have a wooden vessel you have, please bring it on the day.
