曲げわっぱとイタリアンシェフ パスタの世界コンテスト

Magewappa Italian Chef Pasta World Contest

We have received many pre-orders even though the production situation is difficult, and our customers who have made reservations have been waiting for a very long time. The production is taking time at the same pace, but we will deliver it when it is ready, so please wait for a while.

Today, instead of talking about the production progress and sales of Magewappa, I'm happy to have a new topic.

At the end of September, I received a call from the chef of an Italian restaurant. It was a request to use Magewappa as a serving dish in order to participate in the world pasta contest held in Italy. He contacted us saying that he wanted to express Japanese pasta, including the vessel.

Magewappa and pasta. The combination alone is novel enough, but what kind of dishes can be served by top-class chefs on a stage like this? I was really looking forward to it, so I lent out a sample product. The contest has several rounds to win, and if it goes well, it is said that Magewappa will be used in the second round.

I can only support and wait from afar, but the other day, I received a report.

It seems that the result was in the top 3 and won a prize! Among 19 Italian chefs from all over the world, he made it to the final round and fought for the championship until the very end. Unfortunately we didn't win, but it's really cool.

It seems that the bending wappa was also used safely in 2 rounds. For more details, check out this article. It conveys a sense of realism.
Giappone e la Nostra Italia: pasta del futuro – the pasta of the future, the future of pasta

Congratulations to Chef Yuge! Thank you very much for this wonderful opportunity. I'm glad that you are expanding the way you use the materials and shapes as utensils and utensils, regardless of genre such as "lunch box" or "Japanese food".

Since it was a restaurant in Osaka, I could not meet him in person, so I only exchanged phone calls and e-mails, but he was a wonderful person with a straight and pleasant impression. I wish you all the best in your future endeavours.
