[Event Report] Everyone's Tool vol.0 (Kaguko Lab) 5th ~Completion Party~

Kaguko Lab has ended successfully.

The first time was in the summer. After five months, we met a total of five times, and it was finally completed.

Yesterday was the final time, the delivery unveiling party.
First of all, Mr. Kagure Awano will show off the finished product. After a long time of working together, we had a lot of ideas, and the image that we envisioned was actually completed.
This time, all the participating members who were involved in the project from the planning stage specially brought a lot of inventory and asked them to choose their favorite wood grain.

The wood grain is visible because of the wiped lacquer finish, and the wood grain is different one by one because it is made of solid wood.
The way the lacquer is applied is also different, and the colors are also different.
Normally, shops and buyers cannot specify the grain of wood when purchasing. Please choose what you like.

Although they look similar, the wood grain is different, creating an endless excitement. Everyone bought a few in bulk, whether it was for a family member or for multiple uses.
After choosing your own dish, wash it quickly and serve it.

Let's all actually use this vessel that we planned from the shape! So, today we had a potluck party and asked everyone to cook for us.

The dishes that everyone brought are delicious menus of various nationalities!

Steamed vegetables, simmered hijiki, deep-fried chicken, bang bunji, fresh spring rolls, chicken in tomato sauce, cake salé, couscous, and more.

All of them are familiar with the vessel and it feels good.
Everyone talked about the reason why they chose from about 30 pieces and the dishes they brought.

Many of the reasons are "I like the wood grain and color (I like the wood grain with a habit, I like beautiful things with uniform grain, etc.)" and "I feel comfortable holding it." It seems to have been chosen intuitively.
The leftover food is served on Kagure's bowl, and the party begins.

Use it as a serving plate and have a fun story time while holding the vessel.

We all talked about the comfort of the vessel and the times so far.

All the participants are very attractive people, and I am happy that the distance between us has been shortened through this event.
The last tightening is Ochazuke.

I want to eat ochazuke in this bowl at the time of the second Kata project! Mr. Kagure Awano realized the voice.

In the coming season, I want to eat pork miso soup and New Year's ozoni.
At the end, we received feedback from everyone on the event.

“It was a rare opportunity to be involved in product planning from scratch, so it was a valuable opportunity.”
"Anyway, it was fun"
“I was able to learn about wooden vessels and lacquerware.”
“I had time to face the dishes and food.”
And so on, it seems that everyone had a lot of fun, and I'm relieved.

The bowls will be sold at each Kagure store and on the Pint! site. At Kagure, it will be on sale at Omotesando from today, and at other stores from the middle of this month. We will also be doing wholesale sales.

This is not a made-to-order product for this project, but a product that everyone planned together, so it will be a standard product and will continue to be developed in the future.

Pint! also wanted to do this project since its establishment. Together with the craftsmen who make the products and the people who actually use them, we create products that are realistic for today's lifestyles. I started Pint! because I wanted to do this kind of manufacturing, but the two years since its establishment were like a preparation period for meeting craftsmen and creating a foundation for manufacturing.

Just when I thought it was about time to hold an actual manufacturing event, I met Mr. Awano from Kagure, and we decided to work together. Mr. Awano from Kagure also put into practice the project that Pint!

They hit it off right away and decided to make a lacquer fuki lacquerware for the second time.

This time, the 8 participants, Kagure's Awano-san, Kikuyama-san, and the Kagure staff worked together to make it a truly wonderful project.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you once again.
Group photo with all the members.

I hope that Kagure-san and I can work together again on Kaguko Lab projects and other big-boned events. Also, as a Pint!, I would like to increase the number of manufacturing projects like this time.
