Finishing study session for wooden utensils ~Urethane finish~

MONO MONO EVENT woodware finish
Yesterday I participated in a study session on painting and finishing wooden vessels. At the study session held at MONOMONO, following "lacquer" and "oil", there are three consecutive lectures on "urethane". I participated in all of them, and the series was completed yesterday. (The photo is from the MONOMONO event announcement website)

We were able to hear the true story of each finish from a paint manufacturer professional as a lecturer. It was a valuable opportunity because it is an area where there is not much information that is organized in a specialized and systematic manner.

"Urethane" is basically not planned to be used as a staple item of Pint!, but it is a finish that is often required in joint production with department stores, general stores, and restaurants. I was able to learn new aspects as well as advantages and disadvantages, so I would like to make use of it in future product planning.

Pint! We will continue to focus on lacquer and oil. , I felt that there is still room for ingenuity in terms of communication and manufacturing. There are also restrictions on the craftsman side, so I would like to make decisions while ascertaining the balance.

I was able to deepen my understanding of daily handling and care from a scientific angle. I hope to be able to provide more detailed answers in the future. I'm planning to upload it little by little on my blog. Please feel free to contact us for individual questions and consultations from this form .
