The bark of the wood absorbs more and more oil, so there is nothing bad for the wooden vessel. As a test, I continue to use it without worrying about oily products, but the stains get used to it and the overall color becomes darker. Of course, when you start using it, only the part that has absorbed the oil will become stained, but if you continue to use it, the entire area will become darker. Also, if you are concerned about it, you can use olive oil to clean it and it will be easy to get used to.
I don't recommend it to everyone, as everyone has their own tastes, but for those who want to grow a lot, I hope you can use it without hesitation even with oily things. In my experience, horse chestnut olive oil finish is easy to grow in good condition.
