"Wooden ware to enjoy the four seasons" in Matsumoto, a town at the foot of the mountain rich in food
Minnano's Tool #03 is a wooden container that was thought up together with everyone living in Matsumoto and Azumino during 2015 and 2016 on the Shiori day in Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture. Please see this report for the product planning story.
The members who thought of this vessel are everyone living in Matsumoto and Azumino. Made by Nagiso craftsmen. We have created two sizes of tableware, large and small, inspired by the idea unique to Nagano Prefecture, which is rich in food, and named it “woodenware for enjoying the four seasons.” A vessel for daily use that allows you to fully enjoy the seasonal flavors.
Wooden vessel to taste the four seasons (large) Horse chestnut 22.5cm
Wooden vessel to taste the four seasons (small) Horse chestnut 16.5cm
In April of this year, the vessel was completed, and we had a dinner party with all the planning members as a customary delivery party and unveiling party for everyone's item event. We have a colorful menu with spring ingredients such as rape blossoms and cherry blossoms.
At that time, I came up with the idea of ``a special ``wooden vessel that allows you to enjoy the four seasons,'' not only in spring, but also in summer, autumn, and winter in Nagano! to do. While enjoying seasonal ingredients and meals, this is a plan to expand the usage and presentation of this vessel that was born in Matsumoto.
This time is the first summer edition. A lunch menu by Mr. Kazumi Goto, who presided over the cooking class " Ohisama Kitchen " in Azumino. Let's have a fun meal together by arranging dishes that mainly use Azumino's seasonal ingredients in the summer on "woodenware that tastes the four seasons".
For lunch, Mr. Goto will prepare a platter that uses plenty of summer harvests that are blessed with the blessings of the sun.
In addition, you can enjoy learning not only food, but also ingredients, tableware, cooking and presentation.
Mr. Goto introduced summer ingredients and recipes, talked about how to serve dishes, and gave a presentation demonstration. Pint! From Nakachi, we will answer your questions about tableware, wood species, processing, finishing types, etc. while seeing and touching various wooden plates. There may not be many people who usually use it, but I hope that it will be an opportunity for you to enjoy wooden bowls and cooking at home.
We look forward to your participation everyone.
