Restocked for the first time in a year and a half.
It's been a while since we haven't been able to procure good materials and we've been trying to improve the oil finish.
The material is domestic wood, solid Japanese horse chestnut. Horse chestnut is a tree that grows as it twists and turns, and has a richly expressive grain with large individual differences. Even at PINT, it was the most popular tree species in the oil-finished potter's wheel wood plate series. Although it is a wide diameter, we were able to procure materials and start manufacturing.
Another oil finish. Up until now, it was finished with olive oil, but while it was easy to maintain, it was slightly vulnerable to warping. Natural oil for wooden utensils, with linseed oil as the main ingredient and only natural raw materials, instead of olive oil finish.

It's freshly restocked, and the wood grain is aligned. If you have a favorite wood grain, please feel free to let us know, such as "dark/light color" or "strong/weak wood grain pattern". It is also possible to choose a similar one or choose your favorite from a simple photo.
Shape, thin construction, not too sharp, not too cute, very well balanced plate. As you use and wash it, it will grow darker. I would be happy if you could enjoy the change together as my plate that you will use for a long time.
