9/29 (sat) PINTの夜会 #03

9/29 (sat) PINT soiree #03

[Postscript We have reached the capacity and have closed the recruitment. ]

PINT soiree, finished the second time the other day. By narrowing down the theme to chopsticks, it became a very intense time. This is the third guide.

About PINT's soiree.

A dinner party with about 10 people at a PINT shop in Kyoto. Dinner at a round table (you can eat well) is included. We will use your own vessel or PINT wooden vessel. Before and after meals, it is a meeting where you can admire the tableware and utensils, listen to stories about manufacturing, and have a lively conversation. No knowledge of pottery is required, and anyone who likes life and pottery can enjoy it. PINTNakaji talks about materials and craftsmanship, stories from craftsmen, folklore stories, and other biased information that cannot be introduced on the web.

<Enjoyable points of the evening party>
・ Enjoy a delicious meal using seasonal ingredients at a “round table” with everyone around the table.
・Even if you don't know how to choose or use wooden utensils, or if you don't have the courage to buy one, you can try it.
・Introduce yourselves and introduce the utensils you bring for everyday use. It's fun to share this with everyone.
・From PINT Nakachi, we will talk about making things according to the theme or according to the vessel used.

We hope that this casual and relaxed gathering will stimulate your intellectual curiosity, and make choosing tableware and socializing with things more enjoyable.

Adults who like things gather at night in a room in an old multi-tenant building in Kojinguchi, and enjoy talking and admiring things while sitting around the dining table.
You can know the back of things and take a peek.
Sometimes, product planning is born from here, and " everyone's tools " begin. (→ Actually one has started)
I hope that "PINT's Night Party" will be such a regular meeting.

That's why it's the third guide and recruitment.

▼The theme of this time
Ingredients = new rice
Story theme = rice bowl

The ingredients are new rice. It is a freshly made new rice grown in Yamaguchi Prefecture, the home of Mr. Shomoto of the round table. Based on these seasonal ingredients, we decide the vessel and story theme. It's a new rice, so it's a straight rice bowl. A rice bowl that is indispensable to the Japanese dining table. Material, size, shape, color pattern. Let's take a closer look at the back of the rice bowl that we use casually.

After working as a nurse, she developed an interest in cooking.
In Kyoto, we are holding a "hands-on meeting" such as making "lunch boxes for people who want to eat home-cooked meals" and making miso. Other event catering, event stalls, etc.
Living while feeling the seasons, I am searching for ways to bring out the power of vegetables every day.

The past two times have been cozy and harmonious gatherings around the same dining table.
Please feel free to come and have a delicious meal.
We are looking forward to your participation!
